Broadcam have grown to the point where they needed to update their website to reflect their new brand image. The original site contained more than 48 pages of information, this was moved to the new system over a period of three weeks. The revised layout contained a complex navigation structure and a dynamically driven site driven by PHP and MySql database and filtered through .CSS stylesheets created by the designer.

Part of the original brief was for Broadcam to be able to update the content across their whole site and then communicate these updates via electronic direct mail. Our technical developer built a system that was easily accessed and updated using a WYSIWYG editor, this allows a very inexperienced user to update the system with text and images, even if they have no html experience. The CMS allows the flexibility to add and edit products and regular news items.

The next step was to create an online automated system for registering email recipients and confirming their registration. This system also includes an email content editor and allows an inexperienced user to send a 'Broadcam' formatted HTML email to subscribers when they choose.
